Help for bus and van drivers using the Dispatch driver app, and for parents using the bus tracking page.
For anything about a specific route, student or paycheck, contact your own transport office first — they hold those records and can correct them immediately.
Driver codes are issued by your transportation office, not by the app. Contact your dispatcher or transport manager and ask for the driver code used for your location-sharing link. The app cannot be used without one.
It is a number your transport office gives you. If they did not give you one, leave the field blank — that is correct for many accounts.
Open the app and check the card at the top of the Home screen. If it says "Sharing Interrupted" or shows an old update time, your phone has stopped the app in the background. Tap the red link under that card to open the right settings, then set Location to "Always" and Background App Refresh to on.
This is almost always the phone's battery saver. On iPhone: Settings → Dispatch → Location → Always, and Settings → General → Background App Refresh → on. On Android: Settings → Apps → Dispatch → Battery → Unrestricted, Permissions → Location → Allow all the time, and remove Dispatch from "Sleeping apps" if it is listed.
Report it to your transport office. Addresses come from the student records they maintain, and only they can correct them. A typo or a missing house number is the usual cause.
Tap the speaker icon in the top right of the navigation screen. The setting is remembered for next time.
Contact your transport office. They can correct the record from the web portal. The app does not let drivers edit a completed stop, so the record stays accurate.
The figures in the app are an estimate based on your scheduled routes, and do not include federal or state income tax withholding. For anything official, contact the transport office.
Tap "Stop" on the Sharing Location card on the Home screen, or log out. Location is never collected while you are signed out.
Parents do not need this app. Use the tracking link in the pickup and drop-off emails from the school, or ask the transport office for your child's name and access code.
